System Requirements

iCR analysis is a CPU, and memory intensive service. This is a consequence of the algorithms used which deliver the very high precision and accuracy. The following is considered the minimum system requirements.

• CPU: an Intel or AMD CPU with 8 to 16 cores is recommended;

• RAM: 16 GB minimum;

• Storage: 100GB. SSD is preferred over hard disks to improve processing time;

• Linux platform required: Ubuntu 18.04 or 20.04;

• The iCR package consists of a number of Docker containers. Docker versions 20.x and newer are required. Instructions on how to install Docker on Ubuntu can be found at https://docs.docker.com/engine/install/ubuntu/;

• The Linux platform also requires that the unzip command is available;

• You can use Amazon EC2 instances. If so, OpenRefactory recommends choosing the m5ad.2xlarge instance type with 100 GB SSD additional disk drive;

• You can use Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines. If so, OpenRefactory recommends choosing the D4s v3 VM with 100 GB SSD additional disk drive.
